The power of prayer lies not in the pray-er or even  the prayer - it lies in the One to whom we pray.

"Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."  - Phillipians 4:6-7

Women's Missionary Union

Women's Missionary Union (WMU) enables church members to learn about the work and needs of missionaries around the globe, provides opportunities to become involved in missions, and fosters a lifestyle dedicated to missions (sharing the Gospel and serving others)

The purpose of men's ministry is to provide an oppertunity for men to get together for fellowship, prayer and Bible study. In addition, the men will be given service projects that will assist individuals with repairs, transportation, remodeling and other needs that could not be done without help from this ministry.

The group is presently meeting for breakfast on the first Saturday of each month at either at either of these 3 locations (Bob Evans Camden or Bob Evans North Dover or Diamond State Grill Dover)

We are called to love and serve one another. Whatever the need - cooking meals for an ill member, cleaning a yard for an older person, babysitting for a busy mom, or simply being there for one another -- that is Helping Hands.

NHBC has many community partnerships with various organizations throughout the area, in order to spread the Gospel to those in need. These include:
